so, i'm 25, have been in a few relationships with boys, but now have been dating the girl of my dreams for just over a year. it would appear i need to let my parents in on this too... any tips? ta in advance.

Secondly, I would be a bit of a hypocrite to give out ‘tips’ on this subject as I kind of managed to get away without having to have said awkward conversation with parents.
Mine kind of went like this:
Me: ‘Dad, this is Stef. She’s staying here tonight.’
Dad: ‘Okay’.
Andddd then she pretty much stayed every night for the next 3 years.
That being said, you’re 25 years old and you’ve been with this person for an entire year. That’s pretty serious.
I’d just lay down the facts but keep it casual.
Something like;
“So, you know how I have had boyfriends in the past? Well I’m currently seeing a girl. She’s wonderful and I’m happy. Will I date other males in the future? Who knows. But rest assured, IVF is basically the norm these days.”
